hair ;

A hip hap hippity happy birthday to long time friend YEN :)

Hi guys! Quick post today :) Been really busy prepping and practising for this sweet as job that i'm going to head out to, for a second interview tomorrow :) wish me luck

Lately I've been too busy with my nose in my books or tired from running or other activities. I'm just trying to busy myself with a lot of things because I know once uni hits again I won't have that opportunity to do these leisurely activities:) so i guess it's a good thing because I'm spending less time actively online and as a result I'm getting more stuff done and I feel productive too :)

One thing to comment on about today randomly, as you notice I usually always have my hair around shoulder length or a bit longer. Never too long. I'll explain why. I went to temple on sunday and there were the typical girls dressed in ao dai, they had long hair and all that typical viet make up. I've known it for a long time but I always leave my hair shorter because people always said that vietnamese girls were suppose to have long straight hair and thin and wear ao dai.

I always disliked how narrow minded their outlook was for a girl. Even though older viets comment disconcertingly on my short hair saying that I should grow it out like my sister, I'm thankful that my relatives have never commented on my shorter hair. I like my hair short and wavy and I like the personality it possesses. Plus my hair was wavy instead of straight from the get go anyway lol. Leaving my hair short is kind of, in my own way, inwardly protesting against those tradtional mindsets.

Maybe that all sounded stupid lol but it's also because I'm lazy too and mummy and I thinks I suit short hair more anyway ^^

Byee :)
Okay not even a quick post >_>
