Today went to Mt Om, it was meant to be a quick trip to eat subway since I had a coupon and since we were both craving for it got ages. Bought some boost and went into a few clothing stores. Bought some necessary things and then we headed to the library to borrow some books because I realized I can't shade objects very . Then went home. LOL took longer than expected.

My cousin came over. I borrowed several drawing books because I need to know more and also it's always been a weakness of mine that I can't draw realism that well and I need to learn more about tones and shading. I struggle with recreating angles in accordance to what I see and I always thought that it wouldn't matter that much but I can see now that it also really affects my drawing skills in manga too.

I read this line from the first drawing book and it said "It can be frustrating when something particularly takes your eye and you somehow cannot capture the essence of it in your sketch" omg it quoted my thoughts exactly! I was trying to draw my dream scene last night but discovered that I was unable to recreated that feeling :(

After this blogging I'll probably hop into bed and read the books with a good old visual diary at hand :D

Ahh isn't life the greatest when you have no expectations ?? ^^ It's the best feeling to be pleasantly surprised! Like when the thing you are buying is on sale and you didn't know! Or when you wake up and it's a good hair day (Y) Or you get a call back from a job interview you thought went sour! ^^ teehee
